During the Hellenistic Age, Greek sculptors increasingly designed works intended to be seen from multiple points of view. Our reproduction of a Veiled Dancer is based on an original statuette in the Metropolitan Museum’s collection, believed to be from Alexandria in the 3rd century BC, that shows the expressive qualities of the swirling entertainer’s drapery. Licensed reproduction, made from bonded bronze, 8"H.
